The room at Colombo Lodge Hotel was simply amazing! The king size bed felt like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, and the well-equipped kitchenette made it easy to whip up some meals. The WiFi was strong, perfect for uploading all my travel photos!

Personally, I found the air conditioning a bit too chilly at times, but I know some people might appreciate it.

Great way to end our business trip. Quiet little place to stay 1 mile away from a public art gallery. Marvellous and fantastic location, walking distance to everywhere. The authentic restaurant on the premises.

Location: the hotel was close to bus stop. The place had a QUIET atmosphere.

The location was absolutely perfect and nice, close to central area of Christchurch and overlooking courtyard. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a kettle and coffee.

The Hotel is brand new with top-quality furnishings. Our room had everything we needed, including a hairdryer, fridge, kettle, and coffee/tea. The manager was extremely friendly and accommodating, always ensuring our needs were met. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious bathroom. We also appreciated the heating/AC system, which kept us comfortable throughout our stay.

It was a bit challenging to find the hotel initially, as there were two entries. The back door, where the parking was located, required us to call for access and navigate many stairs to reach the reception.

We had an excellent time in this hip new hotel in Christchurch. All the personnel was super-friendly. The beds were extremely comfy, the room was nicely decorated & fantastic. The property's location was great and unbeatable, to shops in a suburb. It was also very close to Riverside Market which was wonderful. Had supper in an authentic restaurant. We greatly enjoyed this, haven't been in a better property.

We had a delightful stay at Colombo Lodge. The double rooms we booked were spacious, clean, and well-lit. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with four pillows and a cozy duvet. The en-suite bathrooms were a bonus, and we appreciated the heating feature. The room also provided tea, coffee, an electric kettle, and a fridge with milk. The friendly and polite host made our stay even more enjoyable, always easily reachable whenever we needed assistance. a warm and comfortable experience.

Our stay was decently comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel had a great location, being close to both the city centre and a range of shops. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the Japanese restaurant next door. The rooms were pristine and the bathrooms immaculate, with air-con and daily room service being a plus.

We did experience some confusion with the hotel's parking arrangements, which could have been better signposted.

Had a great Christmas at this hotel! the staff were very friendly and offered complimentary drinks and snacks upon arrival. the location was spot on, near shops and easy to get around. the bed was comfy and the shower had great pressure.

The room was hard to find and there were confusing entry points. the one-way mirror in the room was kind of weird and made me a bit uneasy.

The ground floor back door was often left open, which was concerning from a security standpoint. the lack of WiFi was a downside.
